Bethesda noted that implementing a field-of-view slider into the PC version could potentially break animations and cause lots of clipping. However, many players were able to edit the .ini file in the beta and change the field-of-view just fine. While the recent update has increased the FOV to 90 degrees, there needs to be a way to adjust it further in the future even if it could take plenty of work on Bethesda’s behalf.
