Fallout 76

It looks like Bethesda are hellbent on bringing about a Fallout 76 revival. Bethesda Game Studios head Todd Howard took the stage at the company’s E3 2019 show to speak of the troubled online game, and of Bethesda’s plans to continue fixing it. One part of that is a substantial new expansion that brings a new story, human NPCs, dialogue choices, and much more, called Wastelanders.

The other prong of that revival effort is a battle royale mode- yep, Fallout 76 is getting a battle royale mode. Called Nuclear Winter, it will allow you to use perks and battle in a contracting ring of fire, with every game seeing a fight to the death to get to the last man standing across a total of 52 players.

Nuclear Winter is already available to try, if you want to jump in. The battle royale expansion will be available to all players for free, but with the game being free to try out for everyone from today till June 17th, Nuclear Winter is open for free trials right now to everyone as well. Jump in, and don’t forget to bring your Power Armour.
