Fallout 76

Bethesda have debuted a brand new trailer for Fallout 76, showcasing the crafting and base building that the title will employ. Players will be able to utilize a new tool called C.A.M.P. that allows for crafting essential structures and building settlements.

Unlike Fallout 4, you can take the C.A.M.P. with you and build a base anywhere. Resources can be mined to feed into the device, and it’s possible to build all manner of defenses, like turrets and mortars. You can also create a workshop, furniture and pretty much anything else. Building can also be done with other players, cooperatively creating a huge set of settlements together.Be careful though – you don’t want to have some troublesome neighbours that will take explosives to your base.

At Gamescom, Microsoft also announced a special Fallout 76 Xbox One X bundle. Prior to that, another trailer focusing on the game’s multiplayer aspects was also released. You can watch that through here. Bethesda VP of marketing Pete Hines re-confirmed that the beta would be coming in October, first for Xbox One. Anyone who pre-0rders will be guaranteed access to the beta, which incidentally contains the entire game.

Fallout 76 is out on November 14th for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. It will sadly not be released for Steam.
