If you pre-ordered Fallout 76 and were one of several to get into the Xbox One beta, you might have been surprised to see it end so soon. Unfortunately, the next beta phase is a few days away, and has been announced for October 27th. This time, it will last from 5 PM EST to 7 PM EST. That’s right – only two hours for Xbox One players.
Much of the downtime is due to Bethesda conducting maintenance, squashing any bugs and responding to performance issues. The developer did warn fans that the beta would have “spectacular issues” that no one ever encountered before. It should be interesting to see how the beta improves though, and with the second phase on Saturday, more players should have time to check it out.
Fallout 76 is scheduled to release on November 14th for Xbox One, PS4, and PC. Bethesda has confirmed that progress will carry over from the beta into the full game, so that’s some relief. PS4 and PC players will get their chance to try the beta out on October 30th. Stay tuned for session timings based on your region in the meantime.
