The likes of The Last of Us and The Super Mario Bros. Movie have paved the way for a new era of legitimately good and successful film and TV adaptations of games, and among the many more that are in the pipeline, one that’s taking promising shape is Fallout, which was first officially confirmed to be in the works back in 2020.

Set to premiere on Amazon’s Prime Video on April 12, a batch of first look images from the TV show have been revealed by Vanity Fair, and series fans are likely to find plenty to like. The images showcase the show’s protagonist, Lucy, interior environments of the Vault the show will begin in, the post-apocalyptic environments of the outside world, and The Ghoul, an important character in the show.

The retro-futuristic aesthetic of Fallout also seems to be on full display, from the Vault uniforms to the power armours. You can view the images below.

Meanwhile, it’s also been confirmed that the show will officially be part of Fallout canon.
