After spending years exclusive to Apple Arcade, Mistwalker’s Fantasian Neo Dimension arrived earlier this month for Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, PC, and Nintendo Switch. It received positive critical impressions, which you can check out in a new accolades trailer. However, for those skeptical about taking the plunge, a free demo is also live for all platforms sans PS4.
It includes the initial hours of the title, introducing Leo and the world while showcasing how the battle system works. Unlike other role-playing games, you can banish enemies to the Dimengeon, a separate dimension, to fight later. Though there is a balance, since you need to fight all of them simultaneously, the Dimengeon does offer unique benefits to even the odds.
Progress transfers from the demo to the game, allowing you to continue playing after purchasing the latter. With sales coming up, including the Steam Winter Sale on December 19th, it’s a good time to jump in.
