Critically-acclaimed tower defense iOS game Fieldrunners 2 will be now hitting Sony’s PlayStation Vita sometime this summer. The game will be playable next week at this year’s E3 before it launches.

Fans who were craving for a good tower-defense on their PlayStation Vita can now relax and wait patiently for Fieldrunners 2 to hit the hardware for an enjoyable experience.

Vita has been getting quite many title announcements for the past few days and even weeks before E3. What does all this mean for the handheld system? We’re assuming that Sony has more unannounced games up their sleeves for PlayStation Vita at their press conference which will occur on June 10th at 6 PM PST.
