Final Fantasy 14 Shadowbringers

Square Enix’s Final Fantasy 14: A Realm Reborn has been hailed as the best MMORPG to play in this day and age, especially with its most recent expansion Shadowbringers. If you’re keen on jumping in, then take note – Final Fantasy 14 Online Starter Edition is currently free on the PlayStation Store. This applies to certain territories like the UK, France, Australia and so on but it should be live for North America by today.

The Starter Edition is usually priced for $19.99 and includes the base game along with a 30 day free trial. So you can waive off the subscription fee for the first month and see if the game is up your alley. You’ll need to purchase expansions like Heavensward, Stormblood and Shadowbringers separately though. The offer is available until May 26th.

It’s actually a pretty good time to get into Final Fantasy 14. The development team is planning to revamp the base game experience and trim down on some of the needless fluff to make it more enjoyable for new players. Stay tuned for more details on when this update will go live.
