Final Fantasy 15 Comrades

Square Enix’s Final Fantasy 15 is currently hosting a closed beta for its next big DLC dubbed Comrades. This will add co-op multiplayer to the game but is only available for those who have PlayStation Plus, Xbox Live Gold or the Season Pass (which retails for $25).

Essentially instilling co-op mechanics into the game’s single-player campaign, Comrades allows players to customize their own avatar and embark on various quests with up to three other players. Though only a small amount of content is available in the closed beta, players can expect new weapons, attacks, sigils and quests in the full version.

The closed beta will be available till August 8th and while there isn’t a release date for the full DLC, Square Enix says that additional information is “forthcoming”. Interestingly, there will also be an update in the future to allow players to select Noctis and his party as opposed to their own avatars.
