Final Fantasy 15 is almost here- which I personally still find a bit hard to believe, because it’s been so long in the coming. But the wait is almost over, and we’re going to be playing one of the longest anticipated RPGs of all time, come Fall.

The journey, however, won’t end there- like most games these days, Final Fantasy 15 will have some kind of post launch DLC, which we will learn about soon. Speaking to the French site JeuxVideoFinal Fantasy 15 director Hajime Tabata discussed the game’s DLC, noting that further details will be announced over the Summer. Tabata also hinted at Square doing something special with the DLC, pointing out that the team will try to engage the players in new and unusual ways with the post launch content.

Speaking about the now legendary PC version, Tabata said that he was definitely interested in pursuing it, because it would push the already technically impressive game to an altogether new level. That said, he reiterated yet again that work on a PC version would only begin after the console versions had released- if at all.

Final Fantasy 15 is slated to launch on PS4 and Xbox One on September 30.
