Square Enix’s Final Fantasy 16 is less than two weeks away, and by all accounts, it’s looking incredible. Before its launch, fans can try out a demo, which lasts for a few hours and transfers progress to the game. As for when the demo releases, it looks to be very soon.

@Genki_JPN on Twitter reported a Spanish TV commercial for the game at the UEFA Champions League ending with, “Play the demo now.” The Final Fantasy 16 Pre-Launch Celebration Event is today at 4 PM PT, so it’s more likely than ever that the demo will go live then. After all, the listing is already available on the PlayStation Store.

Final Fantasy 16 is available on June 22nd for PS5. Recent gameplay offered a closer look at the various Hunts that players can embark on, from a Grimalkin (Rank C) to a daunting Atlas (Rank S). There’s also some dungeon exploration that you can check out here. Stay tuned for more details on the demo soon.
