Final Fantasy 16

With Final Fantasy 16 set to launch in just a few days’ time, excitement surrounding the action RPG is at a fever pitch, though it seems a few people out there have managed to get their hands on the game early. A small number of physical copies have been shipped out to players already, as a result of which spoiler-filled gameplay screenshots and videos have been emerging online of late.

Square Enix has also issued a message via the game’s official page, where it acknowledges the leak and asks those who’ve got access to the game early (via legitimate means, at least) not to share spoilers online. The company also confirms that it will be taking down any and all images, videos, and streams uploaded before the game’s release later this week.

“For those who receive a copy ahead of launch, we kindly ask that you do not share any aspect of the game, including screenshots, videos, and livestreams until after Final Fantasy 16 has launched,” Square Enix writes. “Our priority is to ensure that the full game experience is not spoiled for our fans, and to do that we will be taking down any images, videos, or streams published ahead of launch day.”

Recently, the game’s full Trophy list was also leaked.

Final Fantasy 16 is launching on June 22 for PS5. A demo of the game is currently available.
