After announcing that the demo for Final Fantasy 16 would go live on June 12th, Square Enix released a brand new trailer, “Ascension.” It’s full of emotional moments, high-speed battles and conflicts between the Dominants and their Eikons. Check it out below.
As the newest mainline title in the Final Fantasy franchise, Final Fantasy 16 is a real-time action RPG set in Valisthea. A mysterious blight plagues the world, and various nations covet the Mother Crystals for protection. Playing as Clive Rosfield of Rosaria, who loses his home due to betrayal, one undertakes a journey to fight against fate.
When the demo goes live, PS5 owners can experience over two hours of the Prologue and transfer their save data to the full game. It even features a battle demo, which provides access to Clive’s Eikonic abilities and Timely Accessories. Final Fantasy 16 launches on June 22nd for PS5.
