Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth Gets a New Batch of Gorgeous Screenshots

The highly anticipated action RPG sequel is set to launch for the PlayStation 5 on February 29 next year.

Square Enix has revealed quite a bit of new details on Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth in recent weeks as we count the days down to the game’s release in February, with the most recent information dump have highlighted the game’s combat, new Synergy mechanics, new locations and characters, and more. Accompanying that drop, Square Enix has also released a bunch of new screenshots for the action RPG.

In addition to showing the remake trilogy’s take on familiar locations like Kalm and the Mythril Mines, the screenshots also showcase various characters that players will be encountering throughout the game, as well as the Kujata summon, chocoboutiques, Materia development, and more. There’s also a few glimpses at Red XII and Aerith in action in combat encounters, in addition to the new Synergy skills and abilities. You can view the screenshots below.

Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is due out for PS5 on February 29 next year.
