EXPANDED BOSS BATTLES

final fantasy 7 remake

The boss fights in the earlier section of the original Final Fantasy 7 are hardly remembered as the most challenging- which makes sense, because they were effectively designed as elaborate tutorials to ease players into the game. However, with Final Fantasy 7 Remake focusing only on Midgar for now, it’s going to expand boss fights as well, just as it is doing with nearly everything else. We’ve already seen the boss fight against the Guard Scorpion multiple times in footage (many of us have even fought it ourselves in the demo), while recent previews have also confirmed that the Air Buster fight has also undergone a major facelift. Based on all that, we wouldn’t be surprised to see what were thought of as smaller and less important bosses being given much more prominence in the remake.
