Final Fantasy 7 Remake is shouldering a huge weight of massive expectations from millions of fans from around the world, given that it’s a remake of one of the most beloved and legendary games of all time. And while we’re all hoping that it’ll successfully recreate the original’s story, combat, environments, and more, Square Enix knows that sometimes, it’s the little details that count.

For instance, the remake will also have the squatting minigame from the original, which is certainly an out-of-left-field inclusion (relatively speaking, at least)- but it’s also one that fans appreciate. And in a clip uploaded by the official Twitter page of the upcoming RPG, producer Yoshinori Kitase explained that appeasing fans of the original was exactly the reason Square Enix decided to recreate some of the smaller details in the remake as well, such as the squatting minigame.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake is out on March 3, 2020 for the PS4. If you’re concerned with more than just minigames, get some interesting details on the game’s combat through here.
