Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade

After many months of rumors, Square Enix’s Final Fantasy 7 Remake has been confirmed for PlayStation 5. The company unveiled it as Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade, which contains an additional story episode starring Yuffie. Check out the first trailer below.

Intergrade sees Yuffie venturing to Midgar and pursuing her own battles. Along with unique movement abilities, she also has intriguing combat abilities (including some team-up attacks with what seems to be a new character). As for the base game on PS5, it sports fog effects, lighting improvements and fast load times.

Photo Mode and options to prioritize either 4K resolution or 60 FPS frame rate are also included. PS4 owners can also avail of a free upgrade to the PS5 version, though Intergrade must be purchased separately. This seems to indicate the PS5 version will cost more seeing as it includes more content and features.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade releases on June 10th for PS5. Whether the story episode will also be coming to PS4 players remains to be seen.
