Square Enix’s Final Fantasy 7 Remake is coming to the Tokyo Game Show 2019. Given the plethora of gameplay footage and characters, including the reveal of series’ favourite Tifa, what could the next demo showcase? Famitsu interviewed director Tetsuya Nomura about the same in its latest issue.

As it turns out, characters from Shinra will make their debut. The Shinra Electric Power Company serves as one of the antagonistic forces and features such characters as Rufus, Rude and Reno. This will be the first time that their Remake appearances are showcased. Whether other members of Shinra and their special forces, The Turks, will be revealed remains to be seen.

It should be interesting, especially since producer Yoshinori Kitase said the remake won’t be an exact copy of the original. Attendees can also expect to see the Hardy-Daytona along with a life-size Buster Sword on display. Final Fantasy 7 Remake will release on March 3rd, 2020 for PS4.
