When it comes to remakes of beloved series, especially ones hotly anticipated, there’s always two things on the minds of fans. The first is- what will change? Considering Final Fantasy 7 Remake will consist of multiple games, most likely a good deal is going to change, for better or for worse. But the other thing is getting to revisit key moments and areas from the original. Today we get a small taste of an area that will most likely be a big part of the first episode.

On the official game’s Twitter, we got a look at Midgar’s Sector 1 with some new concept art. Fans will remember this as a key point in the original game’s narrative. This is where the ominous Mako Reactor extracts the planet’s life energy. It’s also where the game’s tone takes a swift turn. That’s a quick shot of nostalgia for you.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake will release March 3, 2020 only for the PlayStation 4.
