Reports about Final Fantasy 7 Remake demo started emerging not too long ago, and unfortunately for Square Enix, those reports were recently proved accurate in the leakiest manner. The whole demo leaked online, with plenty of new gameplay available, while many have also bee digging around in the demo’s code to uncover new details (basically, spoilers for the whole game can be found online- we won’t be covering any on GamingBolt, though).

Another detail now comes from @roXxPS3 on Twitter, who mentions that there are several things scattered throughout the game’s code that hint at an eventual PC port for the. The demo still has PC code, supposedly, while it also mentions various higher resolution options than the PS4’s standard 1080p, and has several references to Nvidia and AMD.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake will be launching as a PS4 exclusive three months from now, but it was also recently confirmed that the game’s exclusivity to the platform would last for a year, and end on March 3, 2021– so it’s entirely possible that we might see a PC release (among others) for the game then.

On the PS4, Final Fantasy 7 Remake is out on March 3.
