Final Fantasy 7: The First Soldier is a free-to-play battle royale shooter developed by Ateam Inc. and Square Enix, and published by Square Enix.
It is set 30 years before the events of Final Fantasy 7.
Support for non-English languages ends on October 31st, 7 PM PST. The remaining months will see updates that presumably add new content.
Square Enix announces that they will be holding a commemorative broadcast for Final Fantasy 7: The First Soldier and Final Fantasy 7 on January 31, coinciding with Final Fantasy 7's 25th anniversary.
Pre-registration is live with rewards like a Chocobo Egg, Shinra Mask Skin, Shinra Bike Skin and more based on the number of players.
Controller support, a Training Mode, improved tutorials and an expanded Collection have been announced along with the new Ninja Style.
First ever live gameplay to be showcased.
Features guns, melee combos, and summons like Ifrit.
The Shinra Electric Power Company logo also received a new trademark.
