Final Fantasy Agito Receives New iOS/Android Trailer

The mobile RPG looks great, just in time for its Japanese launch.

As a sort of spiritual successor to Final Fantasy Type-0 for the PlayStation Portable, Square Enix will be releasing Final Fantasy Agito for smartphones and tablets this April in Japan. A new trailer for the same has emerged which you can check out above.

Final Fantasy Agito will see both familiar faces and new, and there will be several classes to experiment with. All the tropes of Final Fantasy, including Moogles and Chocobos, are present here. The game takes place in a cycle prior to Type-0, though it’s not technically a prequel, and as a result you’ll encounter several familiar party members but with different classes.

Final Fantasy Agito will be out this month for iOS and Android across smartphones and tablets. It’s hard to say when it will release outside of Japan but considering Square Enix’s recent efforts with the series on mobile, we’ll keep the hope alive. Let us know what you think of the trailer below.
