Final Fantasy Versus XIII Advanced to 100% Production

Posted By | On 11th, Sep. 2011

Final Fantasy Versus XIII has been advanced to 100% development power according to Kitase. This information came to light during a fan meeting where Yoshinori Kitase and Motomu Toriyama were asked a lot of questions by the fans, which was reported via NovaCrystallis.

If you remember Square said earlier that the game is in Pre-Production stage. Whatever that means in Square’s lingo.

Kitase said, “Type-0 and Versus XIII have of course advanced to 100% development power.”

Now we don’t know how much time it will take to finish the game but its good news for the fans desperately waiting for some trickle of information from Square Enix. What a tease!

Final Fantasy XIII-2, however, will release in Japan this year and on January in the other territories. We will keep you updated on more news regarding Versus XIII. The release date for it is still TBA. When do you think this game will release? Tell us in the comments section below.
