Final Fantasy Versus 13 is right up there with The Last Guardian in terms of games that have fallen into development limbo and show no signs of ever emerging again. We’ve heard teases and rumours, including one that elements of the game have instead been utilized for Final Fantasy XV.

However, director Tetsuya Nomura may finally be set to announce some new details about the game. According to the FFvXIII forums, Nomura is set to appear on the second episode of mdRadio, Square-Enix’s merchandise radio broadcast.

Last month, when the radio show debuted, Nomura made an appearance and apologized to fans for the long wait for Final Fantasy Versus XIII along with the promise that the next appearance for the game is indeed on the cards. Square-Enix also teased that they’ll be showing the next Final Fantasy at E3 2013, most likely at Sony’s conference.

Will Nomura reveal new details about FF Versus XIII or at least give some indication as to when its next scheduled appearance will be? Stay tuned as E3 2013 draws nearer.
