Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn Beta Continues This Weekend

Currently in Phase 3, which sees PC and PS3 players together.

The third phase of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn’s beta, which sees PlayStation 3 and PC gamers playing together for the first time in order to review cross-platform capabilities, will be continuing this weekend. Phase 3’s second weekend will be adding new content to the foray including new city states such as Limsa Lominsa, Ul’dah and Gridania.

It will commence on Friday, June 21st at 10:00 AM and continue till Sunday, June 23rd at 10:00 AM, UK Time. Testing for phase 3 is expected to continue through the weekends in June and July leading up to the game’s release.

As a reintroduction and major overhaul of Square Enix’s MMORPG, Final Fatasy XIV: A Realm Reborn will be releasing on August 27th 2013 for PlayStation 3 and PC, along with a 2014 release on PlayStation 4. The second coming of the game features new visuals, mechanics, environments, battle systems, public events and much, much more to provide value to gamers.
