First Halo: Reach Review Out- GameInformer Gives It 95/100

Posted By | On 11th, Sep. 2010

Gaming magezine, GameInformer has reviewed Halo: Reach, becoming the first ever source to review the game. They have given the game a mind-blowing 95/100, saying Halo: Reach “is the true follow up to Halo 3.”

They write: “Any disappointment series fans felt after ODST should be completely washed away thanks to Reach. Make no mistake about it – this is the true follow-up to Halo 3. It’s also a perfect way for Bungie to part with the series it turned into a phenomenon.”

On this review, and on the fact that this is Bungie’s last Halo game- though not THE last Halo game- Lehto said, “We really never anticipated it becoming this big. There was so much responsibility on our shoulders to make sure that Reach is the best of all the Halo games. We put every bit of effort we could into this game. While we’re happy that it’s done, and we’re proud of what we created, we’re really sad to say goodbye to the Halo universe.”

We are sad too. We hope you are lying.

It seems we were rght about how good the game would be when we previewed it.

It was reported earlier that individual UK retailers are selling the game already, three days before it’s launch. Who knows, you might not have to wait that much.

Other Halo: Reach reviews will be online tomorrow morning for all UK based publishers, since that is when the embargo lifts for those in UK. Till then, you can check out our preview linked above or the first seven minutes of the game, or the extended version of it’s famous live action trailer.
