Square Enix’s open world action RPG Forspoken is launching in just a few days’ time, and to no one’s surprise, it’s looking like it’s going to be a beefy game where its file size is concerned. The game’s demo on PS5 was already a sizeable one (at around 30 GB in size), and it looks like the game, too, is going to be quite hefty.

That’s as per @PlaystationSize on Twitter, with the page – which tracks updates and uploads made to the PSN backend – revealing that Forspoken will require 87.275 GB of free storage space on PS5. It seems like the game will also become available for pre-loading on January 22, a couple of days ahead of launch.

Details aren’t available yet on how much storage space Forspoken will require on PC, or even what its minimum and recommended system requirements will be, but Square Enix is set to reveal new information on the PC version on January 17, so we’re likely to get those details soon.

Forspoken launches on January 24 for PS5 and PC.
