Fortnite Season 8

When it comes to talking about worldwide phenomenons, we have Fortnite, one of the biggest games in the world, and we have Avengers: Endgame, releasing this weekend, which is looking to possibly have the biggest opening in film history. It seems like a bit of cosmic destiny that the two are potentially colliding in some way, as they did last year as well.

As we’ve reported before, the official Fortnite Twitter feed has been dropping some not so subtle hints of late that there is some type of crossover event happening tomorrow. The first was a Fortnite character with Captain America’s shield, yesterday it was Thor’s axe, and today it’s Iron Man’s thruster gauntlets- and I doubt that’s Robert Downy Jr under the mask. It also comes with the tagline, “Whatever it Takes,” which has been repeated in trailers for Avengers: Endgame. No one has any idea yet what the crossover event will feature, but odds are good it’s something to do with the weapons being teased.

Fortnite is available now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, PC, and mobile. You can check out the tweet below.
