Fortnite Teases Avengers: Endgame Crossover Yet Again

First Cap's shield, now Thor's Stormbreaker.

Last year around the time of Avengers: Infinity War’s release, Fortnite introduced a limited time event that allowed players to wield the Infinity Gauntlet and turn into Thanos and wreak havoc across the map. With Avengers: Endgame almost upon us, Fortnite has been teasing a similar crossover event.

Yesterday, the official Fortnite Twitter account put up an image teasing the Fortnite x Avengers crossover event, showing a character from the game with Captain America’s shield. Now, another new image has gone up, this time showing Thor’s new axe, Stormbreaker. The image is accompanied with the same caption as yesterday’s image was- “Whatever it takes”.

The teases do suggest that the crossover event will introduce multiple weapons from the Avengers’ arsenal that players will be able to make use of, though what actually ends up happening remains to be seen. As per the dates mentioned, there’s not long left until we find out- April 25 seems to be the day. Stay tuned to GamingBolt for more updates in the meantime.
