Fortnite: The End Event Sees Everything Consumed by Black Hole

Players can't enter new matches and can only gaze upon the black hole.

Fortnite The End

The End, the latest major event for Epic Games’ Fortnite, was hyped up quite a bit prior to yesterday’s reveal. As the closer for Season 10, The End culminated with a rocket being launched into the sky. However, multiple rockets appeared after that and collided near the suspended meteor before sucking it in.

Soon, another rocket emerged from the sky and hit the map, causing a huge impact before everything – the players, the Battle Bus and the map elements – was sucked in. What’s left? A single black hole and a button that says “Exit” on the lower right. Players can’t join new matches. Fortnite has effectively “ended”.

Of course, this is likely just the beginning of something new. Fortnite: Chapter 2 leaked recently on Apple’s App Store in Italy, with hints of a new map incoming. We also know that Epic Games has several changes like bots planned. Fortnite isn’t done by a long shot but the real question is what happens next. Stay tuned for more details or simply gaze into the black hole via the live YouTube stream below.
