Epic Games’ latest crossover event for Fortnite: Battle Royale is now live with Batman being the focus. Kicking off on Batman Day, the event introduced a new Rift Zone in Gotham City, replacing Tilted Town in the process. Check out the announcement trailer below along with some gameplay of Batman hunting “crooks”.
Gotham City offers glider redeploy so you can take down foes and grapple away like the Caped Crusader himself. While we doubt most mooks go down with one Batarang – which is another new item introduced in the event – it still makes for a cool trailer. Along with a new zone, players can complete challenges and earn free cosmetic rewards.
New cosmetic packs are also available in the Item Shop including the Catwoman Comic Book Outfit and Caped Crusader Pack (which includes The Dark Knight variant of the suit). Fortnite X Batman will be available until October 1st, so hurry up and try it out today.
