Microsoft has finally officially announced Forza Horizon 5 for PS5, as leaks had insisted for the last few months it would. However, interestingly enough, it seems like Sony’s console isn’t the only platform that the open-world racer is speeding towards.
Forza Horizon 5 is seemingly also in development for the Nintendo Switch 2, as claimed by known leaker extas1s on Twitter shortly following the PS5 port’s announcement. Whether it will launch alongside the latter sometime in Spring remains to be seen.
Forza Horizon 5 is far from the only first-party Microsoft game to have been pegged for a Nintendo Switch 2 launch in recent days. Other prominent titles such as Diablo 4, Halo: The Master Chief Collection, Starfield, DOOM: The Dark Ages, and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 are all also allegedly in development for the upcoming console.
Nintendo has a Switch 2-focused Direct presentation scheduled for April where we might hear more about these titles (if there’s any truth to these rumours). Stay tuned for more updates.
