Summer Game Fest and the Xbox Games Showcase are the two biggest attractions in June as far as gaming events go, but you can add a trio of other shows to the schedule. The Future Games Show’s Summer Showcase is set for June 6th at midnight PDT with “world premieres, exclusive trailers, and demo drops from a range of exciting studios.”

It’s followed by FGS Live From Los Angeles with a focus on “even more of the biggest games, direct from some of the Summer’s biggest events.” While it could obviously spotlight games from the main show, you have to wonder if any Summer Game Fest titles could also appear. After all, the latter does precede it.

If that wasn’t enough, the PC Gaming Show is confirmed for June 7th at midnight PDT, which should be immediately after the Xbox Games Showcase. You know the drill – world premieres, “exclusive announcements,” interviews, and so on. And as usual, it’s going to be a massive show with over 50 PC titles promised.

Of course, the PC Gaming Show Tokyo Direct and PC Gaming Show: Most Wanted remain on the cards for this year as well, so stay tuned for dates. While details are sparse on the Summer Game Fest showcase’s announcements, the Xbox show could offer release dates for Halo: Campaign Evolved (allegedly launching in July), Fable (still on track for Autumn), the rumored Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, and Gears of War: E-Day.

The latter is getting a dedicated Direct after the main show with a gameplay reveal and other details, so a release date announcement seems inevitable. It’s currently rumored for the second half of the year, and it wouldn’t be surprising if it were also trying to avoid Grand Theft Auto 6.
