Gearbox Software has been hyping up some stuff quite a bit lately. On top of a tease for what could potentially be the next Borderlands, the developer also teased something relating to Borderlands 2 (a port for Nintendo Switch, most likely). It’s teasing one final game though, this time with an “&” or Ampersand symbol. That’s in addition to a tweet with an image of a dismantled robot on an operating table. Your guess is as good as ours.
Borderlands 3 is perhaps the most anticipated release, especially considering the second game of the series is almost seven years old at this point. There’s not much we know about the same aside from rumours about its four classes. It’s possible that it could release for the Epic Games Store, either as a timed exclusive or in addition to Steam, given Gearbox CEO Randy Pitchford’s support of the same.
PAX East will be taking place from March 28th to 31st. In addition to Gearbox’s titles, we’ll also be hearing about an unannounced title that Shovel Knight developer Yacht Club Games is publishing. Stay tuned for more details in the meantime.
