The Coalition has announced that Gears 5 has gone gold. All principle development is finished and the game is being sent for manufacturing and distributing on physical discs. In an Xbox Wire post, studio head Rod Fergusson thanked his team for their hard work.

“From all of us at The Coalition, we couldn’t be more excited to share Gears 5 with the world. I want thank the team here who has worked so hard for our fans, and we all hope you are all as excited as we are to play Gears 5. This is furthest we have ever taken the franchise, living our studio mantra of ‘if you want to go far go together’.” said Fergusson.

To further celebrate, the developer unveiled the full list of campaign Achievements that could be earned. Though no explicit story spoilers are provided, you might want to abstain from viewing them if you really want to be surprised. You’ve been warned.

Gears 5 is out on September 10th for Xbox One and Windows 10 with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and Ultimate Edition owners playing it four days early. We’ll be getting an exclusive look at campaign gameplay and Horde Mode via Gamescom Opening Night Live on August 19th. Stay tuned for more details especially since the ceremony will feature reveals from the likes of Bungie, Capcom and Kojima Productions.
