The Gears of War series has always been known for its hard to find Easter Eggs and they’ve been pretty entertaining as a whole. However, The Coalition’s Gears of War 4 could very well up the ante.
This is according to studio head Rod Fergusson who noted on Twitter that, “We may have just created my favorite Easter Egg in Gears 4. I hope you find it!” And no, he didn’t provide any more information as he should not. Unless it’s another Batman: Arkham Asylum scenario, of course.
Fergusson also noted that the studio may have some interesting news to share soon. In a tweet with Microsoft’s Larry “Major Nelson” Hryb, Fergusson noted that the two were discussing “super secret Gears of War 4 stuff.” What could that be? Again, no further information was given.
Gears of War 4 releases on October 11th for Xbox One, taking place in the future and starring Marcus Fenix’s son JD Fenix.
