Gears of War 4

Original plans for the Season Pass of Gears of War 4 to feature six Gear Packs have been changed. It will now begin with a 17 pack Starter Air Drop to offer more value at $39.99 according to studio head Rod Fergusson on Twitter.

There’s expected to be more content as Fergusson described this as a “sample platter” of sorts with 85 cards to take advantage of. These include Horde Boosters, Elite Packs, Operations Packs and Versus Boosters. If you’re going to purchase the Season Pass then expect all offers to updated accordingly.

Gears of War 4 will be out on October 11th for Xbox One and Windows 10 with support for the Xbox Play Anywhere feature. This allows you to purchase a digital copy on either Xbox One or PC and receive it for free on the other platform. Will you be picking it up in October?
