Genshin Impact - Ganyu

MiHoYo Games has released a new character trailer for Genshin Impact, placing the spotlight on Ganyu. The Yuehai Pavilion secretary is seen taking a stroll through Liyue at night, commenting on its various happenings. Though the English version is unavailable, the Japanese trailer can be seen below.

As one of two new 5-star characters added in the latest update, Ganyu is a Cryo user skilled with a bow. Her charged bow attack is notable for dealing Cryo AoE damage at level 2, which can freeze nearby foes. She can also place an Ice Lotus that will taunt enemies to attack it and deal Cryo damage in return.

Her Elemental Burst is Celestial Shower, which summons a Cryo pearl that rains down ice shards while active. Any opponents caught in its area of effect will take Cryo damage. Ganyu’s character banner goes live on January 12th and will be available for 20 days. Stay tuned for more details when she becomes available.
