Genshin Impact - Version 4.1

Version 4.1 for Genshin Impact, “To the Stars Shining in the Depths,” is available for PS4, iOS, Android and PC. A new live-action trailer is live for the same, though it’s more of a celebration for the free-to-play action RPG’s third anniversary. Check it out below.

The update adds two new 5-star characters – Neuvillette, who wields Hydro, and Wriothesley, a Cryo Vision user. Both utilize Catalysts, with the former being the current Character Banner for the next few weeks. Other new content includes the Liffey Region and Fontaine Research Institute of Kinetic Energy Engineering Region. New Archon Quests, Story Quests for Neuvillette and Wriothesley, and World Quests are also available.

There are new Daily Commissions and a new system called Adventure Encounters, where completing quests, opening chests, collecting certain materials and more award Encounter Points. These can be traded for Commission rewards instead of completing Daily Commissions for up to four rewards. Stay tuned for details on further updates in the coming weeks.
