miHoYo Games has announced that Genshin Impact’s next update, Version 3.2 “Akasha Pulses, the Kalpa Flame Rises,” will go live on November 2nd. It adds the epic conclusion to the main story in Sumeru, along with new playable characters, Nahida and Layla. Check out the trailer below.
The story sees Il Dottore, aka The Doctor, kidnapping Nahida while Scaramouche, or The Balladeer, serves as a new boss fight. The latter commands a massive mech with two forms that wield several elements. It’s a fairly epic battle and should serve as one of the biggest challenges in the game.
As for the new characters, Nahida is a five-star Dendro user who wields a Catalyst. She can mark and link enemies to deal more Dendro damage and works well with Pyro, Electro, and Hydro characters. There’s also Layla, a four-star character wielding a Cryo Vision and sword. She appears to provide defensive capabilities for the team.
