miHoYo’s next big update for Genshin Impact – Version 3.8, “Secret Summer Paradise”, arrives on July 5th. It adds a limited-time area, the Veluriyam Mirage, with two new game modes and new outfits for Klee and Kaeya. Check out the trailer below.
The two modes in question are Choo-Choo Cart, which involves ferrying passengers, and Preprint mode, set in a 2D world with puzzles. You can also partake in attractions like “Bing-Bang Finchball,” a shuffle-board mini-game with twists, and “Dance of Flashing Thought” for combat challenges. In addition to Joyeux Vouchers for unlocking Kaeya’s new outfit, Layla is also free to recruit.
Kaeya also gets a Hangout Event, while Sangonomiya Kokomi and Wanderer will feature in a later Event Banner. A new PvE mode is coming to Genius Invokation TCG – “The Forge Realm’s Temper: Endless Swarm”, where players take on waves of enemies in an endless format with limited rounds. You can also earn new Character Cards for Candace, Yanfei, and Kaedehara Kazuha. Stay tuned for more details en route to the update’s release.
