In addition to revealing the next big update for Honkai: Star Rail, miHoYo Games also announced Version 4.2 for Genshin Impact. Launching on November 8th, “Masquerade of the Guilty”, teases consequences for Furina, the Hydro Archon, who will also be playable as a new 5-star character. Check out the trailer below.
The Primordial Seawater brings new danger to Fontaine, including the All-Devouring Narwhal, a new weekly boss specializing in large area-of-effect attacks and houses The Foul. Then there’s the Hydro Tulpa, who grows stronger upon absorbing Half-Tulpas.
New areas like Erinnyes Forest and Morte Region will open up, while Freminent joins the Traveler in venturing to Erinnyes Island to pursue some Water Imps. The World Quest, “The Narzissenkreuz Adventure”, will provide more details on the Primordial Sea.
Along with Furina, who uses two Arkhe alignments to either deal damage or heal, Charlotte, a four-star Cryo user who uses photography to fight, will also be playable. Players can also look forward to new events, including a new photography event. Stay tuned for more details en route to Version 4.2’s release.
