In its latest Special Program for Genshin Impact, miHoYo Games confirmed that the free-to-play action RPG’s next update would arrive on March 13th. Version 4.5, “Blades Weaving Betwixt Brocade”, sees players venturing to Mondstadt to help the Knights of Favonius in a new seasonal event. Check out the trailer below.
“Alchemical Ascension” sees players working with Lisa to grow ingredients and brew potions to sell. You can upgrade the facilities and utilize better potion bottles as revenue grows, with rewards including the “Dialogue of the Desert Sages” 4-star Polearm.
As for new characters, Chiori finally joins the roster as a 5-star Geo user who wields a sword but can unsheathe twin blades as part of her Elemental Burst. Players can also engage with her in a new Story Quest, which involves her work in the Fontaine Fashion Week.
The first half of the 4.5 Event Wishes includes Chiori and Arataki Itto, followed by Neuvillette and Kaedehara Kazuha in the second half.
