The world is really talking about Death Stranding and The Last of Us 2 right now in regards to Sony’s upcoming games, but another one sneaking up is Ghost of Tsushima. Rumors are that it could be coming early 2020 despite what little we’ve seen of it. Well, unfortunately, it seems the lid is on it for the foreseeable future, but a new piece of art from an unexpected place shows off what we could be in for with the setting.

Featured in the Into the Pixel competition, a competition to display the best game related art in the industry, Senior Concept Artist John Powell’s Ghost of Tsushima entry was the grand prize winner. Titled “Farmstead Mongol,” the artwork shows a farm area destroyed by the Mongol invasion of Japan. It matches well with what little we’ve seen of the game and shows we’re probably in for some pretty desolate and dreary settings in the upcoming samurai adventure. Check it out below.

Ghost of Tsushima is scheduled to come out for PlayStation 4.
