Ghost of Yōtei

The hype continues for Sucker Punch’s Ghost of Yōtei as Sony has released a new cinematic trailer for the upcoming open-world action-adventure. Atsu ventures to the ruins of her childhood home, remembering what the Yōtei Six did before engaging in a sudden battle. Check it out below.

Atsu also speaks of carving one’s own path as a Ghost and finding “renewal beyond revenge,” in a possible friendship with the mysterious wolf. In the end, it’s about ensuring her upcoming victims know her name as she sets out through the plains of Ezo.

Launching on October 2nd for PS5, Ghost of Yōtei offers a more freeform approach to its adventure compared to Ghost of Tsushima. Players can take on bounties, collect leads in the form of cards to pursue each member of the Yōtei Six, discover weapon masters to learn new techniques and much more. Atsu also has access to different weapons, including the recently highlighted dual blades.
