Sucker Punch Productions’ Ghost of Yōtei launches on October 2nd worldwide, a whopping five years after Ghost of Tsushima, but depending on your region, it may be available earlier. Sony recently revealed the global launch times to IGN, confirming the open-world action-adventure’s launch on October 1st, 9 PM PST.

That translates to 11 PM Central Time and 12 AM Eastern Time on October 2nd in the United States. However, in the rest of the world, it will be available at your local midnight time. With that in mind, be careful of spoilers from those who gain access early.

Ghost of Yōtei is launching alongside a meaty day one patch, which fixes numerous bugs and offers improvements to Ray Tracing Mode, stability, and much more. Head here for more details. You can also check out our review, where we praised the open-world epic for its presentation and world design alongside the positive additions to combat, exploration and overall variety.
