Pre-orders for Sucker Punch Productions’ Ghost of Yōtei are now available on the PlayStation Store. Two editions are available – Standard, which costs $69.99, and Digital Deluxe, retailing for $79.99.
The Digital Deluxe Edition includes the base game, The Snake (one of the Yōtei Six) armor set, a Gold sword kit, a Charm, a dye for the starting armor, and a dye for your horse and saddle. You can also unlock the Traveller’s Maps early, which helps to locate statues that upgrade skills. You can learn more about the physical Collector’s Edition here.
Ghost of Yōtei launches on October 2nd for PS5. It follows Atsu on a quest for revenge against a gang of outlaws known as the Yōtei Six for the murder of her family. She traverses Ezo, completes bounties and follows leads to find and hunt each member.
Promising the developer’s biggest and most open world yet, the sequel introduces new weapons like the kusarigama, yari, and more. However, the katana remains essential to the experience. Stay tuned for more details in the coming months.
