A mistake by Ubisoft showed the next Ghost Recon a little ahead of schedule.
Ubisoft has been teasing upcoming Ghost Recon news for quite some time. There were sequel teases in the latest update to Ghost Recon Wildlands, and there is a “Calling all Ghosts” event coming up tomorrow. But, as often happens in the digital age, a small mistake has leaked out the announcement just a tad early, as a Collector’s Edition page of the new title went up ahead of schedule.
As an eagle eyed fan on Reddit saw, athe German side of the Ubisoft store put up an image of a Collector’s Edition for something called Ghost Recon Breakpoint that will be exclusive to that store (at least within that region) that has now been taken down. As you can see below, the name of the title is clearly stated, and this specifically is identified as the Wolves Collector’s Edition, and comes with a statue of an as of yet unknown character, which will most likely be either one of the protagonists or antagonists.
Since there’s nothing official yet, we have to classify this under speculation for now, but we’ll keep you updated when we hear more about Ghost Recon Breakpoint, possibly tomorrow.
