#19. KRAKEN (GOD OF WAR 2)

The Kraken boss fight is a memorable one for multiple reasons. For starters, it punctuates an incredible moment in the story, where Kratos’ realization of what’s happened to Sparta and what Zeus’ role was in that leading to a cathartic release of characteristic anger. On top of that, the actual fight itself is an absolute blast- you’re staring this creature dead in the eye, chopping off its tentacles one after the other, and it all concludes with you literally stabbing it through the mouth with a giant bridge. It’s not hard to be impressed with that.
