God of War Ragnarok

Update: Following the lack of information yesterday for God of War Ragnarok, AestheticGamer has clarified that they in fact, “did not hear correctly.” The wait continues.

Original Story:

God of War Ragnarok is seemingly on track for release this year with a recent video recapping the story of God of War (2018). However, some other announcement may be coming today, as per insider AestheticGamer (aka Dusk Golem). Based on what they heard, they revealed that “Today should be a good day for Norse Mythology enthusiasts.” Which, of course, refers to fans of God of War.

There is a caveat, though. Instead of “any concrete source,” the information is something they have been “hearing in the grapevine today.” While they note that “it IS a pretty good grapevine,” fans are advised to temper expectations. Given the backlash from some fans when the release date announcement was delayed, it’s probably for the best.

Speaking of which, AestheticGamer advised fans to “please be respectful & kinder to developers. If you harass people, lack common human decency, and spew vitriol, you’re not a real fan or a gamer. You’re a baby who’s never learned how to behave. I learned only recently some of what’s been going on with people waiting for news.

“It’s unfortunately unsurprising from underdeveloped malicious minds who choose to act in hate, which sours the fun of it all. With that said, I know most people are good, happy & should be fun.”

As to the possibility of new details today, it’s hard to say. AestheticGamer is known for Resident Evil and Silent Hill leaks, though they recently revealed concept art for Odin. Take things with a grain of salt and hopefully, we’ll learn more later today.

God of War Ragnarok releases on November 9th for PS4 and PS5.
